Please tell us a few words about yourself and your career path.

I'm T. Nagaraju, a post-graduate in Metallurgical Engineering from Telangana state in India. After a brief assignment at ARCI Hyderabad, I joined RHI Magnesita Global Trainee Program in January 2022.

Why exactly did you apply?

I was drawn to the program's cross-functional nature and the opportunity to deeply understand the key business functions. I was also aware that RHI Magnesita is at the forefront of innovation in the industry, and I wanted to be a part of that journey.

What’s the most unexpected skill you’ve gained at RHI Magnesita?

Working with cross-functional teams helped me broaden my horizon of skills. I am currently doing my final rotation within the Program. So far, I have had rotations in Sales, OSS, and R&D. I really enjoy this diversification of learning.

Any advice to people who consider applying?

I would encourage anyone who is ready to perform and contribute to RHI Magnesita's efforts to transform the refractory industry to apply for the Program. It provides true global exposure, and trainees are mentored by the leadership team, which is an incredible benefit.
