Culture

Building a strong corporate culture is essential to our long-term sustainability and success. The foundations of our new corporate culture have now been laid, with a focus on four key themes:

  • Act customer-focused and innovatively
  • Have open decision making in a respectful environment
  • Operate cross-functionally, collaboratively and pragmatically
  • Be performance-driven and accountable.

Since our 2017 merger, a global network of culture champions has embedded a new culture through workshops, communications campaigns, team-building activities and pulse surveys. More than 3,000 people have been trained to help bring our new culture to life.

 

Training & Development

We aim to help employees fulfill their career potential while developing best-in-class capabilities for our business. We provide development opportunities, while assigning accountability and rewarding performance.

Our approach

The People Cycle, our performance management system, has now been rolled out. Covering all employees, the system includes regular planning and structured performance reviews. Talent management and succession planning processes have also been implemented.

Programmes include our new global leadership learning framework #FitToLead. In addition, our new Global Talent Programme will recruit a growing number of high-potential trainees around the world each year, scaling up to 50 in 2025. We aim to broaden the ways we offer training, both online and in person.
