Renata Pribila

Integration of Acquisitions Manager, former Trainee

Tell us a bit about yourself and your RHIM journey.

My name is Renata Pribila, and I am proud to be one of the first-generation Trainees who kickstarted their journey at RHI Magnesita. I'm a super organized and driven person, deeply passionate about impactful collaboration and creating long-term value for the company.

My RHI Magnesita career path includes a first rotation in Refractory Services, followed by a second assignment in Sales Steel Eastern Europe, and finally the third role as a Global HR Business Partner. Later, I stepped into the role of Chief of Staff, where I had the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, support strategic initiatives, and lead cross-functional projects. This role was instrumental in sharpening my leadership, decision-making, and change management skills.

Currently, I serve as Integration of Acquisitions Manager, where I combine my operational knowledge and strategic mindset to ensure seamless transitions and maximize value from our acquisitions. Each chapter of my career has helped shape me into a more holistic professional—and I’m excited for what’s next.

What kind of projects did you get to work on?

I've had the chance to work on a wide range of impactful and exciting projects across different areas of the company. One of the most memorable was leading the 2nd Generation Trainee Program, where I managed the entire process—from shaping the program structure to selecting candidates and supporting their development.

In my current role, I manage post-merger integration projects, working cross-functionally to ensure smooth onboarding of new businesses and alignment with our global strategy. I’ve also supported strategic initiatives and process improvements during my time as Chief of Staff, collaborating with top management and driving change from within.

What has been a highlight of your experience with RHIM so far?

There have been many, but one standout has been the opportunity to travel internationally and visit multiple RHIM plants around the world. Experiencing different operations first-hand, meeting diverse teams, and exploring new countries has been truly eye-opening. I’ve been able to work with global leaders and directly support top management, which gave me unique exposure and helped shape my strategic thinking and leadership style. Those experiences have not only expanded my professional horizons but also had a deep personal impact on me.

What do you appreciate most about RHIM’s culture?

RHIM’s culture is incredibly empowering. The company genuinely invests in employee development and creates space for growth, innovation, and global collaboration. From the Trainee Program to cross-regional assignments and high-impact projects, RHIM encourages you to step up, take ownership, and bring your ideas to life. There’s a true sense of support and openness, and I’ve always felt encouraged to be myself, speak up, and keep evolving.

What advice would you give to future trainees?

Be curious, proactive, and open to every opportunity that comes your way. The Trainee Program is not just about learning different functions—it’s about discovering your own strengths and finding your place in the company. Don’t be afraid to challenge yourself, ask questions, or step outside your comfort zone. This is your moment to make an impact, grow your network, and build a global career from day one.
