On 1 November 2026, Gustavo Franco officially assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer of RHI Magnesita, succeeding Stefan Borgas after 10 years as CEO of RHIM.
For Gustavo, this marks a significant new chapter in a career spanning 25 years with the company. Having joined Magnesita in 2001, he has held a wide range of technical, commercial and executive leadership positions across different regions and global functions. Most recently, he served as Chief Customer Officer of RHIM.
Throughout his career, Gustavo has developed a deep understanding of the business, its customers and its people. But beyond his professional experience, who is Gustavo Franco?
